Locate32 fails when searching into text files with VMG extension (saved message from Nokia PCSuite in plain text)

I try to find the string "452" or "ok" and there aren't results but if I open the VMG file in notepad the information is in clear text.

The database is of course updated.

An example of a vmg file is like the following:

******THIS LINE IS NOT IN THE FILE*****
EGIN:VMSG
VERSION:1.1
X-IRMC-STATUS:
X-IRMC-BOX:INBOX

If you need more information or the reg file with my config please email me.

First of all, do Locate32 find the file if you do not use "search text".

And maybe VMG files uses Unicode. So try "uni:452"

Hi Janne, I was testing the two things you mention and the results are the following:
1. Yes the file can be located withoyt any text search
2. Yes, I realize now that uses unicode and the search text you gave to me works fine.

I post this as a bug because I open the VMG file within the npp text editor and it appears as plain text, and I never have this problem of can't find a string withing any file.

Thank you!
